The only papermaker in the Middle East with ISO 17025 certified laboratories
Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, 2nd of September 2019: MEPCO Laboratories has received ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation. ISO/IEC 17025 general requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories is the main ISO standard used by testing and calibration laboratories, the most important standard for calibration and testing laboratories worldwide.
MEPCO acquiring the ISO 17025 certificate confirms its laboratories are technically certified, which enhances the quality of its products and therefor, its customers, enabling MEPCO to penetrate new markets or acquire larger market shares. MEPCO is the only containerboard manufacturer in the Middle East that acquired such high-profile certificate. This comes to crown MEPCO’s long list of certifications that include 14001 (2004), ISO 18001(2007), and ISO 9001(2008).
